How booking works

Three Steps to the Chair

Send the request

Use the form below — idea, placement, size, budget. Rae reads every request herself and replies within 48 hours, even if the answer is "not my style, but here's who to ask."

Deposit & drawing

A $100 deposit locks your date and goes toward the final price. Rae drafts the piece and you'll see it before session day — one revision round is always included.

Session day

Private studio, just the two of you. Bring your ID, eat a real meal first, wear something that exposes the placement. You leave with aftercare in writing.

Before you ask

Questions, Answered

How does the deposit work?+
$100 to lock your date, and it comes off your final total — it's not an extra fee. It's non-refundable if you no-show or cancel within 72 hours, because that time was held for you. Reschedule once with 72+ hours notice and the deposit moves with you.
How much is it going to hurt?+
Honestly? Some. Fine-line work is gentler than packing black, and forearms and calves are easy; ribs, sternum and feet bite harder. It's very survivable — people fall asleep in the chair more often than they tap out. We take breaks whenever you need one.
Are touch-ups included?+
Yes. One free touch-up within six months, as long as you followed the aftercare. Sun damage, picking at it, or ocean swims during the first two weeks void that — skin tells on you.
What's the aftercare?+
You'll leave with printed instructions, but the short version: keep the second-skin wrap on 3–5 days, then fragrance-free wash and a thin layer of lotion twice a day. No pools, no sun, no gym friction on it for two weeks. Boring aftercare makes beautiful heals.
Do you do cover-ups?+
Case by case. Blackwork covers a lot of sins, but not everything — some pieces need a laser session or two first before a cover will look intentional instead of crowded. Send a clear photo of the existing tattoo with your request and you'll get a straight answer.
Minimum age? Do I need ID?+
18+, no exceptions, no parental-consent workarounds — Idaho allows them, this studio doesn't. Bring a valid government photo ID to every session; you'll be asked even if you've been in before.
